About the Author
Olivier Rolin (1947), figura relevante por su actividad política en el ámbito de la extrema izquierda francesa de mayo del 68, ha viajado por Europa, África, América del Sur y la Antigua Unión Soviética. Periodista y crítico literario, es actualmente editor de Éditions du Seuil, donde trabaja desde 1978. Ha publicado nueve libros desde 1983, entre los que destacan Port Sudan (Premio Fémina 1994; Seix Barral 1995), Siete ciudades (2001) o Méroé (1998).
