Journey

Journey is a personal testimony of a young girl who endured sexual abuse from within her family and when the time came to tell, her heart was broken. She often felt alone and afraid to tell. Her mom worked hard to care for Journey and her mother, however, that meant she spent many hours away from her children and depended on others to care for them. Journey had a caring heart and always watched out for her younger brother. Due to circumstances in her own life, she still was very concerned for the feelings of her brother and the consequences he endured. It was through her discovery of a hidden talent and a relationship with Christ that she was able to change the path of her life. She is extremely for the life she endured because it gave her a testimony to help others and be an example that you are not a product of your circumstances. Now she is a loving mother and wife and an advocate for so many others who endured the things she endured.
