Hannah's Legacy
"James Davis is a junior in college on track to become a Protestant minister. A friend of his is taking the LDS missionary discussions and asks James to come and listen in. when the missionaries have them read portions from The Book of Mormon that describe the Savior's visit to the New World after his resurrection, James is greatly impressed and so continues to take the missionary lessons. Five days before he is scheduled to begin a summer job as a youth counselor in a Protestant Church a few hours away, James is baptized. In a phone call to the pastor, before James can explain his situation, the pastor tells him that because of some health problems, he is about to go to the Mayo Clinic to undergo some tests, and that James will be needed to fill in for him while he is gone. James decides not to tell the pastor that he's now LDS, but just go and serve until the pastor returns from the clinic. To complicate matters, Pastor Collins has a beautiful and talented daughter named Hannah. She teaches James what it means to be a faithful Christian. Every day she takes food that has been donated by local restaurants to those in need. As James and Hannah fall in love, James decides to stay there until the end of the summer without tell Hannah or her dad who he really is. Of course this can only lead to greater problems for James, Hannah and her dad." --Back cover.
