The Measuring Stick
The first book in The Saga of Hunter Benson Trilogy, it focuses on the growth of Hunter Benson from birth to young adulthood as well as the misadventures of his uncle [Russell "Rusty" Robertson], an American expat living on the island of Saint Lucia. It covers their combined experiences over thirty-five years, two parallel lives related by blood but separated by one generation. The story takes the reader to five different continents and explores the effects of some of the most profound incidents in modern history on the lives of the central characters. -- Amazon.com.
