Elijah

"He's been living in the shadow of his siblings his whole life. Now he's in a race against them to the Culling's final four. Elijah Reed knew qualifying for the Culling was possible, but as the youngest Reed, he was never expected to follow in his parents' footsteps. When he finds himself immersed in the Culling anyway, he is skeptical from the get-go. Eli's skepticism only increases after several shady candidates survive multiple cuts and evidence of an inside traitor surfaces. Eli realizes he can no longer remain neutral and blend into the background as he has always done. He must ensure a trustworthy couple wins the presidency--whether it includes him or not. With the future of the country at stake and danger looming, can a viable pairing really win it all? Can Eli find a Culling partner and be one of those viable options? And after a reckless decision that changes everything, will he take a chance on love before it's too late?"--Cover, page 4.
