When I Was Young

Tom tells us his story of growing up in a rural community of the Midwest and the choices we all have to make while growing up; a struggle to climb a tall ladder in search of a career in aviation that lasts an amazing 50 years, starting and finishing in his hometown; a hitch in the army, a war, flying freight, spotting fish in the Atlantic and flying a major airline, returning to manage his hometown airport. This path was guided by the people he met.
