Alterkine: The Ones We Were

The Ones We Were is intended for 3-6 characters of levels 3-5.Welcome to a world where, yes, it can get worse...and usually does. Anything is possible, but the possibilities often wind up have scales, fangs, claws, and a particular penchant for snacking on human flesh. Here, you'll find the deranged, the deviant, and the deadly. And that's not even talking about the monsters yet. While perhaps a darker world, Alterkine still provides many opportunities for daring fights and feats that set the commoner apart from the true hero--or simply the unlucky dead from the skin-of-their-teeth survivors. Or you might just be in it for the cash, or because you harbor a nasty lust for violence and death that blurs the line between monster and man. Whatever the case, you knew the risks when you chose this life, and now it's just a question of whether you'll live long enough to collect on your next paycheck.
