Promise

Marked - one word that unjustly damned young Andrea for crimes she had not committed; Elnai - one Name that would save her from the sins she had; the Promise - one hope for which her parents had died.Andrea was scared, confused. She had no idea what would happen. She did not understand everything. But ever since that dream, in the middle of the prison, she felt like forgotten coals of a once roaring fire were being fanned into flame once more... as though something unseen was directing her back to a path she had once known long ago... a path that would lead to greater things - and greater troubles. Who was she? A small and unimportant farm girl who never knew her parents? Who was she to be talking like this? Did she even fully understand it herself? Yet she felt... a peace. And a hunger. She did not have all the answers. But she had a start. And she had a longing to remember this Maker for Who He is. To understand what would drive her parents to risk losing everything. Even to die. She had only scratched the surface. She wanted... needed... hungered for the Truth her parents had known. The Truth she was only beginning to discover. The Truth that was already seeping into her very being. Truth that made her into so much more than just a farm girl. Truth that sought her out with a fierce passion. Truth she would uncover.
