Overdue for Murder: An Anna Kilner Mystery

A local big wig murdered on the football field. A small peaceful southern town in chaos, looking for someone to blame. Their Police Chief with a hidden past, on the hunt for a quick easy scapegoat to burnish his fragile image. Add to that mix a recent transplant from Atlanta, Anna Kilner, the new Parker High School librarian with a tenacious passion for the truth. So, when the Chief accuses one of Anna’s students, and smears the kid as the killer, the Chief’s “quick and easy” goes up in smoke. Why? Because a librarian ignores all threats, and will stop at nothing, go anywhere, and dig up anything to protect those she loves. And Anna Kilner loves her students. Welcome to Parker, Georgia, where the gossip is faster than the broadband, and the truth is never checked out. Until now.
