Whatever It Takes

Chris Balogun's ride as one of the best high school soccer players in Seattle has been easy-until he runs into trouble with the law. Suspended for the first week of preseason and struggling academically, Chris needs to impress both on and off the field to clear his name and salvage his future as he enters his senior year. With the corruption of college recruiting, however, staying out of trouble can be a perilous task, and the people breaking the rules are those he would least expect. "Whatever It Takes" follows Chris through the highs and lows of his last year of high school. Just when he thinks he has achieved some stability, Chris is thrust into a conspiracy orchestrated by mysterious figures in the world of collegiate athletics.
