A Shadow's Whisper

A Shadow's Whisper is the first book in an epic fantasy series where power tempts the unwilling, heroes are forged in darkness, and the war for the Land of Argion begins. Every man has a shadow-a voice that tempts, pulls, and whispers promises of power. Some fight it and rise above. Others give in and fall.

In the kingdom of Argion, dark days have begun. Duvessia has seized the throne of Norbai, her ambitions threatening to plunge the land into chaos. Jak only wanted a quiet life, but when Duvessia's elite warriors come for him, he's forced to run for his life-dragged into a conflict far greater than he understands.

Meanwhile, Princess Helena of Sennelin is on a desperate mission to secure her kingdom's future, and it all depends on finding Jak. As armies gather and kingdoms fall, Queen Treance entrusts a young commander with holding the line against Duvessia's forces.

But something far worse stirs in the shadows. An ancient power awakens, seeking someone to wield its strength and bring about the end of Argion.

The battle for the world has begun, and the line between hero and villain is fading. When the shadow whispers, who will answer?
