Claimed by a God
The god of love has finally fallen in love.Psyche's life seems perfect. She is a beautiful princess, adored by everyone, and about to attend a feast full of suitors who all wish for her hand in marriage. But her idyllic situation is shattered when she inadvertently incurs the wraith of the great goddess of love, Aphrodite, and she sets her son, Eros, on a revenge mission. Before Psyche realizes what is happening, all her suitors abandon her and she discovers that she must be sacrificed to the gods. But instead of being sacrificed, she is whisked away to a magical palace. Unknown to Psyche, the god of love, Eros, has fallen in love with her and spirited her away to protect her from his vengeful mother. Eros desperately loves Psyche, but wants her to love him for who he is, and not simply because he is a god. Every evening he visits her, but only under the cover of invisibility. Psyche can hear and touch him, but not see him. Though he professes his love for her, can she trust someone she cannot even see, much less love him?
