The Uncrowned Prince In Israel

The Uncrowned Prince in Israel: A Cairn on a Neglected Grave is a book written by C.W. MacKenzie. It is a historical account of the life and legacy of Prince George of Greece and Denmark, who served as the High Commissioner of the Cretan State and later as the Governor of the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem during the early 20th century. The book explores Prince George's contributions to the development of Israel and his efforts to bridge the gap between Jews and Arabs in the region. It also sheds light on the neglected grave of the prince and the efforts made to honor his memory through the construction of a cairn. The book is a fascinating read for anyone interested in the history of Israel and the Middle East. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
