Blackout

WHEN ALL IS LOST, WHAT DO YOU FIGHT FOR? As war rages across the galaxy, Dr. Stacy Eros flees back to the interstellar warship where she grew up, finding purpose in her work and hope in the thought that the war will one day end. But then, one last battle sees hundreds of crewmates die on her operating tables, leaving ship and crew stranded in deep space. Abandoned to the void, with anyone who might come to their rescue already gone, all Stacy has left is her faith - strength borrowed from the religion and rituals of her dying civilization. And in the cold nothingness of space, even that strength is fading. Until a last, desperate plan occurs to Stacy, which may just save them yet. But the plan comes at a terrible price, which the crew may not be willing to pay... Suspenseful, intriguing, imaginative, and moving, Blackout is the opening novella of the sci-fi dystopian Star Fall series. Join Stacy's journey through darkness into the hope of a better world.
