The Ringmaster

THE RINGMASTER: A fast-paced thriller of financial opportunism and political conflict for the control of Formula 1 'Toby Vintcent has clearly revelled in the story of Formula 1' -- MAX MOSLEY, former President of the FIA, the governing body of Formula 1 One man took Formula 1, a peripheral sport practised largely by gentlemen players, and over 40 years transformed it into a global powerhouse. He’s made himself rich – the people who stayed with him rich. Others are aggrieved, believing they’ve been cheated. What happens when the 'Ringmaster' is forced out? Who should succeed such a pivotal figure? Enjoy the rewards? Will the settling of old scores distort the outcome? Some see the Ringmaster’s departure as the end of an era, a chance to reshape, rebalance Formula 1 – others as their Machiavellian chance to get back what they consider was theirs all along. Will the scramble for control destroy this multi-billion dollar sport? Is this to be the end of Formula 1 as everyone knows it?
