Lighting Out
When a con woman liberates a large sum of money from a bank, she also liberates the vice president of the bank. Eloise May (one of her many aliases) escapes to freedom, and Baxter Evans (the vice president) is suddenly removed from a life he finds claustrophobic and soul-deadening. These two people light out for the territory and create new lives while staying one step ahead of those who try to find them.
