Corrupt Priestess

Give me 5 minutes are the most dangerous words in existence. Words that lead to a journey that has devastated hearts and haunts dreams and nightmares alike. Give me 5 minutes is an eternity when you can stop time with a kiss.

Time is not like man, it doesn't lie, it doesn't withhold and it cares not for our feelings as it reveals reality. It gives us so much before it takes ....

Cybele is a middle aged, single, time traveling teacher and secret Priestess by birth right but in a society that seeks to enslave such pure power, she settles for being a magicless deplorable educator at a university that doesn't respect her. With her office hours in the campus pub, a favorite rentable at the brothel and enough herbs to smoke herself into oblivion, the toxic Priestess lives a humble life paycheck to paycheck while secretly doing her duties on the side for the monastery she was raised in. Unfortunately humble isn't a word her older twin Cian is accustomed to and so the adventure begins as she battles her brother for control of her life. From the same beginning to dig sites and curses, he has guided their lives while she drowned her sorrows. His success as a notable archeologist is partially due to her and for that reason, he will never let her leave him. Contrary to both their plans, duty calls and Cybele must rise up and decide her path before she is swallowed by the weight of her own guilt... or before she is stolen away for a life of obedient slavery to a tyrant.
