Гігантська Ріпа

When Miss Honeywood's class set about planting a vegetable garden, they have no idea what's in store for them. Soon they have grown a turnip taller than a giraffe and wider than an elephant! But what can you do with a giant turnip? Vividly illustrated and humorously narrated, this modern retelling of a much-loved Russian fairy tale is a story about little people working together to solve big problems. 'The Giant Turnip' can be used to talk through the value of teamwork and helping others with young children. Henriette Barkow's lively adaptation also introduces early readers to essential areas of vocabulary including food, plants, seasons and the natural world.
