Elected to Eventual Conversion Inconsistencies (Does Your God Deceive?)

D. I. Sidebottom

(From the back cover)

Volume 1 of this 5-volume study of the "Elected to Eventual Conversion" (ETEC) concept is an attempt to demonstrate the inconsistencies found within the messages, explanations, and illustrations of the ETEC teacher.

We begin by presenting the statements of various authors as they seek to explain their understanding that election relates to God determining in eternity past which individuals would eventually be converted.

This is followed by a demonstration of the inconsistent and contradictory statements various authors and speakers use when explaining their ETEC beliefs. Their attempts to defend this inconsistent messages are also presented.

Following this are a few illustrations which are commonly used by authors and speakers still trying to defend this concept. Some sound petty good and are similar to what we have heard in the past, but that does not make it true. We test these illustrations and show how they depart from the message of Scripture.

Come on, let’s check it out!
