The Funfair
READERS LOVE LEAH PITT'S GRIPPING THRILLERS: 'Loved the characters and location of this story, although it does make you want to go on a summer holiday so be warned about that!' ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 'A fantastic plot with a shocking ending . . . I didn't see that one coming. Can't wait for Leah's next book!' ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ THEN It's Rachel's favourite night of the year: the end-of-summer beach party with all her best friends. They're going to do something wild: break into the abandoned funfair. It'll be a night to remember. And none of their lives will ever be the same again. NOW Years later, Rachel still lives at home with her mother, trying to keep the memories of that night far from her mind. But when her old friends return to the sleepy seaside town unexpectedly, Rachel is forced to face up to the past. Who saw what? Who lied to who? And why does the old funfair still have such a hold on them all? A gripping psychological thriller from the author of The Beach Hut - perfect for your summer reading . . .

This review has spoilers
||I don’t normally use spoilers in my reviews.. but this time I have to.. Question for the Author.. 1.. If Liam and Rachel were bf/gf in high school and he suddenly changes plans and goes to University with Rachel’s best friend Penny. Does that mean that they were seeing each other behind Rachel’s back giving what the future holds for them both?… * Nevermind.. I sort of remember what happened with this…:* My Opinion.. I can not recall a book I’ve read that made me like the story and hate all but the MC.. Honestly.. I do not see why Rachel would reconnect with any of her high school friends..but I understood why, as the story went on. But they brush her off like she’s crazy.. The reveal ( for me at least ) at first was not obvious but then something clicked and I’m like uh oh.. All in all this was a great book. The other characters in this book have a lot of growing up to do.. I mean demeanours change. I’m glad karma gets the villains at the end.. I would recommend people giving this a try.||
