DAYDREAMERS: Enemies to Lovers

STEPHANIE A CHERRY

The story takes place in a small town. A group of scientists invents a machine that merges the conscious with the subconscious by placing the minds of the test subjects into their dreams. They are able to manipulate these dreams making their subjects act accordingly to what they want. The machine gets into the wrong hands and few people from a small town are used to carry out their tests. They trap people in their dreams and take control of them causing them to be violent and dangerous to everyone around them.

The story follows three main characters: Nolan, the Father of Cassandra. Cassandra is affected by the experiment. She unknowingly murders the delivery man and subsequently her father. Nolan finds a way to keep Cassandra from harming anyone and goes on a quest to get her out of the dream. He meets Aliya. A scientist who coincidentally was a part of the research had left the research team. Together with Aliya, Nolan strives to get Cassandra to wake up.
