Why I wrote this book:

I am an RN-MSN with experience as a DOD civilian working on a military base. Since I am married to an active duty service member, I’m job-hunting every two to three years. While the field of nursing certainly offers opportunity everywhere we move, I found that the federal sector of nursing is not as user-friendly as the civilian side. Through my work experience and my experience applying for multiple federal jobs in multiple states as my spouse’s career progressed, I fine-tuned the federal application process and provided full resume-writing services for a number of years.
