Being The Church That People Need: Not The Church That People Want

Dan Gordon

In this day of compromise when churches turn from following God's word and turn to wanting to be loved and accepted by the world, God’s people need to realize how important it is for any of the Lord's churches, large or small, to stay focused on the truth of God's word and the objective He has given us. Being the church that people need is quite different than being the church that people want. God DOES care how we worship Him. It does matter HOW that His objective is accomplished. We MUST maintain the things that God's word tells us if we are going to be the church that people need and not the church that they want.

In this sermon series, you will learn how important it is for God’s churches to maintain their focus upon God, to be distinct and separated from the world, as well as how important it is for God’s people to maintain God’s ways and not employ worldly tactics in the Lord’s churches, if we are to be the church that people need rather than the church that people want.
