The Awake Voice

"I was going to spend the summer with my aunt because I had to decide where I was going to live. So far, much of life seemed to be about getting bullied, about apathy and feeling alone much of the time. The lessons that God taught me during the summer and those who I met during this learning process would guide me to understand God's will and also to understand how much he loves everyone and everything." This story involves the different stages of life. The beings in this story includes humans, animals, land, water, planets, extraterrestrial beings, ghosts and angels. This story reminds everybody that because we belong to God, we will never be abandoned, or without parents or without friends, because that's what Jesus Christ came for, so that we would all come to know and always remember that we have each other and that we are friends. NOTE TO READER: The Author used real-life situations to describe the character's spiritual and emotional growth. Some of these situations may be considered too strong for some readers, as different people have been exposed to different life experiences. So, please consider this before sharing the book with under 18 years old age groups. Examples of these situations include: a woman has bruises and it is inferred that she has been victim to domestic violence; a character draws her sword and is punctured during an interaction with an aggressor; an adult is attempting to take film footage of two characters without permission; a character uses a wrestling move to hold back an aggressor; an artistic image of Jesus Christ on the cross; a character who has scars on her wrists from historic self-inflicted wounds; bullying; the presence of predators around children and adults; characters experiencing strong emotions, etc.
