Coo Coo Kereru

Combination of rhyming verse and prose tell the story of New Zealand's native wood pidgeon, the Kereru, a familiar sight in the bush as well as urban areas. A fun depiction of the Kereru and its antics is balanced by informative text giving key facts about this native bird, its habitat, feeding and breeding habits., predator threats and the important role it plays in spreading seeds of native trees. A fact file at the back of the book supplements the text.
