Vespertine

Quinn Vespertine has a mission: to bring balance to Varcuria, where the reigning sorcerers and oppressed mortals are constantly at odds. The job is going well, until, of course, it isn't. Things rarely are for her. Caiden Riis is an anomaly, even among sorcerers. Because of this, there will be blood on his hands, unless he can wrench himself out of the grasp of his guardian. Salvatore Vespertine is the leader of the mortal resistance, and he would do anything for his little sister-kill, maim, steal-this, she knows. What she doesn't know is that while he is her hero, he's also a liar. When the reversal hits, everything will change.
