Sirum Em Qez'

"Sirum em qez' is a sweeping, emotional story of love, sacrifice, and resilience set against the backdrop of Iranian repression and diaspora struggle. It follows Maryan Darya, a young Iranian Armenian woman whose life is shattered after she joins a women's rights protest, triggering brutal consequences that tear her family apart and force her into exile. As she escapes Iran and begins rebuilding her life through art in Berlin and later Minneapolis, she grapples with grief, identity, and the meaning of freedom. Her journey intertwines with unexpected love, deep friendships, and the enduring strength of Iranian and Armenian cultural heritage. At its heart, Sirum em qez' is a tale of a woman learning to survive loss, reclaim her voice, and define a future shaped not by fear, but by love.
