Fallen Star

Christina Reese has always admired Cindy Blake, the well-known jockey and long lost member of the Whitebrook family. So when she runs into Cindy at the track in New York, Christina is thrilled when her hero takes up her invitation to return to Whitebrook for a break. Unfortunately, Cindy can't be the mentor Christina wanted so badly. When Star suddenly comes down with a deadly virus, Cindy comes out of her slump to offer encouragement. But is it too little, too late? And will Star survive to race again?
