I Like Pretty Things
This popular illustrated series by Leah Mariani is now available in a coffee table book. It includes 16 large colour images and the inspiration behind the series. "I like pretty things" considers the treatment of the female figure in modern fashion advertising. Leah Mariani is a Melbourne based feminist artist. In addition to creating art about women, she loves to write and maintains a blog about feminism, fashion and art. This book brings the artwork and the words together in one neat little package.
