The Problem Solver: Border Crossers

A young mother sits in the back of a panel truck holding her young daughter and slightly older son to her chest. All three have died from the heat of the desert sun when their truck was abandoned and the thirty people locked in could not break out.Ian is shocked and saddened by the scene. Then the news announcer declares that the situation needs a problem solver to address the issue.The truck is the second abandoned truck. Each truck had thirty people.Ian knows immediately that he has just been called to act.Three major organizations are involved; the Arizona highway patrol, the Phoenix City Police and the Border Security Patrol.The local FBI becomes the organization that Ian utilizes as cover for his operation.It seems clear to him that people in the border patrol ad most likely another group in the Highway patrol or the City police are involved on the US side. He has no interest in dealing with those involved on the Mexican side of the border.He is faced with three solid and most likely innocent leaders of each of the organizations. He must penetrated each to determine who might be in positions to pull off the human smuggling operation.Ian rescues a group of people locked in the back of a panel truck. It appears abandoned but the two drivers return from having obtained some repair parts. They threaten Ian but end up locked in the panel truck.The two captured drivers become the decoys to lure in the guilty parties that seem to be on the city police force.Border Security guilty parties, Phoenix police guilty parties, and the cartel operative all meet their individual justice.Ian once again goes home to his lovely Leslie.
