Woven
Will Luck, an idealistic school teacher living in New York city, finds his luck begin to change when he and Carvey Becks, an ambitious yet arrogant young actor, stumble upon a pen drive containing a mysterious symbol. Swept through the city's underground of artists and unusual synchronicities, the two simultaneously leave for different destinations to escape the roaring machine of New York. Will's journey leads him East to the Orient along with expat secret societies and intellectual legacies of radical thinkers. While he is enjoying his time with his new found lover, Jill, he is suddenly called back to New York due to an untimely death. Dream becomes blended with reality. The overlap grows unbearable and while his psychic antagonists begin to torment him, he begins to embark on what is the greatest adventure of his life: the Amazon Basin. With no choice left but to follow this paradoxical call he embarks, confronting colorful travellers and new ideas, which were before totally foreign to him. Through the winding rivers of the Amazon, he pummels the depths and tunnels of the unconscious, the landscape of the mind. Life and death, the nature of friendship and the patterns underneath all life are explored in this cunning, philosophical maze of fiction. Though it is unclear where it is going, have no fear that in the end, we will all arrive there.
