Kindred Spirits (kindred Chronicles)

A deliciously twisty story about hidden truths, inherited magical power, commitment, and sacrifice. Reclusive Angela Penner, embraces her inherited ability to time travel, and saves her bloodline from certain death.

While untangling family secrets, Angela's bloodline is in grave danger when she confronts her great-great-grandmother Kirsten Jensen, a young Danish pioneer wife. Kirsten catapults from a polygamist relationship in Salt Lake City, Utah, 1865, to Des Moines, Iowa, 1977, where she falls desperately for Angela’s neighbor. She helps Angela traverse a treacherous tight rope to rescue women from peril without corrupting the timeline.

Sometimes what happens in the future stays in the past.

Uncovering the truth hidden by Angela’s family passes the burden of the secret to her. In previous times, women with her gift were burned as witches. Angela reaches out, despite her circumstances, to bring her family together while testing her own love relationship.

Kindred Spirits, Book One of Kindred Chronicles, is at once a delightful mother-daughter tale, a touching romance, and a page-turning time-travel adventure. Denelda reminds us that families are forever, and women are the binding force.
