Battle for Fort No-Name (Bedtime Stories Full Chapter Books for Kids 3)

Best friends Jessy, Dave, Zach, and Betsy have all grown up together and always used an old ruin as a place to unwind and relax. Their childhood fort is an out-of-the-way little outpost that gives them a great place to look over the lakes of Mount Desert Island. They even say that as they get older, they'll keep coming here just to talk and watch the sun set. All their plans change when, one day, a big fishing company wants to build an ugly canning factory on top of their fort. Smooth-talking representative Troy Higgins of Sea Bounty tries to get the kids to just let things be. It's just an old ruin, he says. But Troy doesn't understand that the kids need this place, and that they aren't about to let some company take their beloved hideout. Just how much shenanigans can a company representative take before deciding he should just take his factory elsewhere? Foster a love of reading with this educational resource.
