On Corrigan Rise

Sheriff Alex Johnstone and Chief Deputy Saul Norton investigate the savage murder of an unidentified young woman found by a group of horse riders out on a day's trek on the foothills of Corrigan Rise. Two male Deputies also go missing, one from the local town of Priestly, the other from the remote country pursuits resort of Wolf Creek, almost 20 miles away. With setbacks and a lack of evidence, the unusual circumstances have the normally quiet Priestly Police Department having to up its game before calling in the FBI to assist them in profiling their killer who has so far evaded detection and is still at large. Set in Montana, the town's law enforcement find themselves in unpredictable and threateningly hostile situations ending with a life or death chase across the state to Elkhorn's derelict ghost town and caves in this fast moving crime thriller.
