Kat
16 year old Kat lived in the underground tunnels of downtown Seattle with the city's most sinister robbery group, the Midnite Bandits, for 4 years. Kat proved to the group she could steal goods without getting caught, be a tough street-fighter, and understood what the Bandits stood for. Halloween night 2001, the Midnite Bandits did a steal at Old-Man Hurb's store and Kat was brought face to face to cops and Hurb after setting off a secret alarm. Her punishment? Work for Hurb to pay back the damages she and the Bandits had done to his store. Kat had a long struggle by not stealing stuff. Her boss taught her what happens to a store when things were taken. She gave up stealing. Kat worked hard, cleaned up her act, saved Hurb's failing store, went back to school, and learned that having a job and earning money was a better life than to be a Midnite Bandit. Six years after getting caught, Kat ran into the Bandit's leader, Axe, after she stopped him from taking money at her mother's favorite grocery. She thought back on the stuff Axe told her about the world owing her because the world took away her loving mother. Was the Midnite Bandit's leader right about his idea by making life fair for those who lost everything, or was her boss right on what needs to be done to bring good into this world?
