Episodes From the 19th Hole

What started out my writing of Episodes was to have a few of my humorous stories printed in a golf magazine; but as I wrote three to four, it got to be enjoyable to reminisce. So I decided to include events that occurred during my eighteen years of playing golf, which were amusing, interesting, and sometimes incredibly hard to believe. My golf career had so many exciting happenings, many attributed to having, as my best friend, Dick Stuart, the very colorful and popular Major League baseball player. Although this book will primarily concern golf, because of being so close to Stuart, many episodes will contain baseball happenings that should appeal to baseball fans as well. Many of these episodes hopefully will amuse the reader, but there is an underlying message that author hopes to convey, and that is not to have the love of golf interrupt the love of life.
