Lin Fah
"Oh, yes," the innkeeper reported with obvious awe of the man, "Lin Fah! Everyone know. Very famous. Very fierce. Kill many men." This was not an encouraging statement for the love-struck young Englishman, Charles Cavendish to hear. He had hoped to speak to the father of the beautiful young woman, man-to-man. However, uncertainty of a proper approach was taken out of his hands as he suddenly found his life dangerously intertwined not only with the very fearsome Lin Fah, but with his mysterious daughter as well. Set in the early 1800s the action novel Lin Fah is narrated by the wealthy and slightly languid Charles Cavendish. His attitude toward life is permanently altered when he discovers that he has fallen in love with a woman who does not exist.
