8 Ball Trick Shot: A Sci-Fi Novel

The street as yet was quiet. The rain had stopped hours before and he could still see puddles of it burning the concrete. A small hovercraft slid past, the careful slalom between the puddles a testament to the driver’s abilities. To the east, the sun was slowly rising, a red glow reaching across the sky grasping at the last of the night. The skyscraper opposite suddenly came into focus as the protective force shield shut down. 8 Ball and Magnus have been close friends for a long time. They are also professional assassins. They agreed to complete another mission for Rutig on a different planet. That was their first mistake.
