"Deep Snow": The Incredible True Story of a Major FBI Sting That Rocked South Lake Tahoe

The true story of “Deep Snow” has finally been written to give the reader an accurate account of my involvement in an FBI round-up in 1989 of those in South Lake Tahoe, California suspected of a drug-related crime. I was caught up in an FBI sting operation entitled “Deep Snow.” For my involvement, I received a severe 97-month sentence. Through these 35 years since being released from prison, my wife and I have shared the stories of these most difficult times of prison separation. We have been encouraged from friends, family members and pre-marriage couples that we have mentored, to put these stories into book form for many to understand where the deep-rooted commitment we had for each other evolved.

I have used hundreds of kept letters written to and from prison to compose this true story of how my wife and I made it through a long and hard time of separation. We hope and pray that our story helps you with the wisdom, strength and encouragement that we received to make it through your ‘Draconian’ trials in life as well.
