Cinnamon's Heart

CINNAMON’S HEART is a story about a young girl named Summer. It’s also about her best friend, a thoroughbred race horse named Cinnamon who teaches her important life lessons such as determination, courage, strength, grace, and forgiveness. While the story is about Cinnamon, it is also about the family who owns her and loves her. It is a family that faces its own ups and downs as many families do. The author wrote this story for his grandchildren, but he thinks that other children and their families will enjoy this book as well. He hopes that they will learn about the important values that Cinnamon teaches the Thompson family, and how these same values can help them on their life’s journey.
