Destination Kerry Our Kerry Farm

Our Kerry Farm, recounts the life of my father, Harold Tommerup, at Warwick and later at Kerry. It relates the difficulties of improving the family farm, before his marriage to my mother, Agatha Alexander. My parents were adaptable, resilient and inventive as they faced the challenging life on the farm during the war years of the 1940s. This was the era when machinery changed forever the way farming was conducted, as horses were replaced by tractors. The story outlines their outstanding accomplishments and achievements in the Kerry district.
