The Christmas Table: A Table Full of Hope

In "The Christmas Table," author Jarod Gordon invites you to rediscover the joy and hope of the Christmas season through the eyes of its most iconic characters. Each Christmas, our tables are filled with laughter, love, and sometimes grief. As we gather with family and friends, we celebrate with those who are present and mourn those who are missing.

The entire cast of the nativity scene will join us this year at our table to encourage us. Their presence will remind us that hope can flourish even in our most challenging moments. What wisdom could Mary, Joseph, the shepherds, and even King Herod share with us? How might their stories encourage us to persevere through life's challenges and embrace God's wonderful plan for us?

Jesus is also seated with us at this table. His gaze is full of love and understanding. Together, we'll explore the varied perspectives of each character—from the humble servant to the wise and thoughtful Magi, and the faithful couple Zechariah and Elizabeth, who set the stage for the miraculous.

Take a seat at the table and join us on this heartfelt journey as we embrace the diverse voices of the Christmas narrative; let's invite their insights into our lives, allowing their stories to inspire us as we move forward into a new year. Let this Christmas be a time of gathering, reflecting, and renewing hope as we come together at The Christmas Table.
