Ruby

Ruby starts her senior year of high school with a plan: survive until graduation without her “crazy” showing. Just over a week in that plan falls flat on its face. Not only are her school archenemies outdoing themselves, but a new guy in town—tall, dark, and steamy Patrick—scrambles her mind and heart.

When Patrick shares a secret—he’s a vampire—Ruby doesn’t have a chance to come to terms with the revelation before another bomb is dropped on her. The little quirk she calls the need might be the key to why Patrick finds her so interesting. But it also might unleash a horde of vampires after her and everyone she loves.

Can Ruby find a way to survive the escalating changes in her life? Will she ever discover the inner strength she knows is buried deep inside? The countdown has begun. Danger is coming, whether she’s ready or not. Will the need come to her aid as it never has before, or is it much too late for hope?

About this series: Ruby is book one with more to follow. Please be aware this story contains on-page violence, bullying, fighting, mild sexual content and assault. It also contains a quirky MC, a BF who is trying his best, and a stepdad that deserves an award. Oh, there's also bleeding involved. It is a vampire novel after all.
