This effort is a historical fiction. The facts are about the initial explorations and later settlement of Coos Country ... Haverhill, NH. The story is based on two boys turning into two men, in different times, but under very similar circumstances. It is a gripping story, within an historical background. The fiction injected is a suggestion of what might have been the interaction between both real and not-so-real settlers!
