Day's Breaking

This book of poetry is many things in one. It is both entertaining and heartwarming.

These poems captured many interesting and sweet encounters the poet had with other characters, be it humans or animals or the sun, as she settled into a new city. They take the readers on a journey of discovering and rediscovering the beauty and magic of the world around us. The poet boldly attempted various traditional forms of poetry: Sonnet, Ghazal, Haiku, and more. She also paid homage to many well-established and emerging poets by mimicking their brilliant works while telling her own story.

"Timing is everything; I was born. Timing is everything; I met this little town when my craving for New York was fading. "
