Hazel lost her mom and best friend, Dante, in a fire. She's devastated. She finds out she gets a scholarship to a new school that will cover everything for her and give her a chance at a better life. She's having a hard time with bullies though. She just wants her diploma and to get out of the school. Trey, Quinn and Ayaz are the kings of the school and are all trying to get her to leave no matter what. Their "girlfriends" are quite the help. They really are good at making her life hell. I'm surprised she lasted so long. Greg and Andre and the sweetest friends. Loretta is always so sad. I like the nickname Hazie. The ending shocked me so much. I was not expected that at all. The book was okay but the ending is the reason I'm going into the second book.
