Catcher in the Sky

Twelve-year-old baseball player, Babe, is mysteriously coached, on and off the field, by a 19th-century major league ballplayer. There's lots of baseball action in this middle-grade mystery novel, but bigger issues, too, like who is bullying Babe's best friend, Gonzo? While Catcher in the Sky is fiction, it is inspired by fact. The author's great-grandfather was a major league catcher for many teams, including New York and Boston.
