After finishing college and working in a variety of clinical settings, she walks away from the medical field she now questions, turns down society's suggested "next life steps," and answers to an unspecific but persistent Calling. Taking one bold step after another, she eventually commits herself completely to her Soul Adventure; she leaves the past behind to launch into the Unknown in search of the Truth. Her quest begins in Hawaii, where she decides to live with only a tent and backpack on Maui and Kauai.
