If You Hear Me
Camellia was Daniel's first love. They met as children at a conservatory for gifted youth in New York City. Kids far from home, they latched on to each other and became inseparable friends. It wasn't until they were fifteen that their relationship shifted from that of composer and pianist to much more. Something happened though, and Cam's parents removed her from school and took her back to their home country of France. Daniel and Camelia haven't truly seen or spoken to each other since. When Camellia gets an invitation to try out for an exhibition of young musicians in Los Angeles she knows she'll see Daniel, and she can't resist the opportunity to reclaim her dreams. The reason she left, the reason she hasn't reached out to Daniel after all these years, is a secret she's terrified to share. She knows she has to tell him, but she doesn't know how to do it-and not lose him all over again. This time, forever.
