How Elephants Lost Their Wings

A traditional Indian folktale, lyrically retold for young readers. In a time gone by, the story tells us, elephants could fly -- but flying elephants led to big trouble. Retold in picture book format with a read-aloud text for sharing with young children. Reminiscent of Rudyard Kipling's "Just So Stories". Part of a range of Usborne picture books, retelling stories from around the world for young children.
